Holly Hagg
Sustainable Forest Garden and Community Growing based on Permaculture
Description
Holly Hagg is a 3 acre field on the Northern slopes of the beautiful and historic Rivelin Valley. The vision is to gradually enhance the land to create meadows, orchards and vegetable cultivation spaces for people to grow together using sustainable, organic principles based on Permaculture. We want Holly Hagg to be a demonstration of best practice in managing the land is a way that is productive,
beautiful and environmentally friendly. Short courses in country skills such as dry stone walling, willow crafts, bee keeping and of course growing food are part of our vison; reskilling people and reconnecting us with the land and our means of survival.
They also offer design possibilities for Landscape students.
You can either get a bus or Claire can pick you up from the Arts Tower.
